Built for what actually happens
Everything inside is colour-coded and labelled, so you are reading tabs instead of digging. Red for trauma, blue for hygiene, black for utilities, green for information. You can find what you need one-handed, while holding a frightened animal.
- A torn or quicked nail. Fido's Styptic Gel stops the bleeding quickly, which is often the difference between a mess and a vet trip.
- Cut paws and pads. Saline to flush the wound, gauze to clean it, and a self-cohesive bandage that sticks to itself rather than to your dog's coat, so taking it off does not pull on fur or skin.
- Snake bite. The SMART Bandage is the same bandage we use for snake and Funnel-web bites in our human kits. For dogs and for people.
- Ticks, splinters and grass seeds. A tick removal spoon, tweezers with a tip guard, and two sterile splinter probes.
- Deeper wounds. Wound closure strips to hold a split together, a combine dressing for heavier bleeding, and a non-adherent dressing for burns and abrasions that will not tear the wound when you remove it.
