First Aid Modules

A cafe with a fryer has a burn problem a standard KIT does not size for. A crew working four hours from a road needs depth a general KIT does not carry. A school or a gym has a body fluid problem that is really an infection control problem.

In each case the answer is not a bigger KIT, it is the right module beside the KIT you have.

BURNS

The SURVIVAL Burn Module covers burns properly: dressings that will not stick to the wound, and enough of them to cover an area rather than a spot.

Cool running water for twenty minutes is the treatment and nothing replaces it. The module handles what comes after, which is covering the burn so it can be transported and assessed.

The Burn Module - Large suits a group, a worksite, a kitchen or a longer trip. Campsites in particular earn it, because a campfire, a camp stove and a billy handle produce more burns than most people plan for.

REMOTE AND OUTDOOR

The SURVIVAL Remote & Outdoor Module adds capability for the situation where you are managing an injury rather than just covering it.

That is the difference between being fifteen minutes from an ambulance and being four hours from one. It is the module for touring, multi-day walks, remote work and anywhere the phone does not have coverage.

BODY FLUID SPILLS

Not glamorous, and required in more workplaces than people realise: schools, gyms, clubs, transport, hospitality and aged care.

The Body Fluid Clean Up Module uses an inert Zeolite absorbent powder that reduces odour, absorbs moisture and helps coagulate the spill, with a scoop and scraper to lift it into the supplied biohazard waste bags. It includes disposable gloves, goggles, a mask and an apron so the person cleaning up is protected.

It comes in a labelled, easy-to-store transport box, which matters because this is the thing you need at the moment nobody wants to go hunting for it.

HOW THEY ATTACH

Modules are built to travel with a KIT rather than separately. Keep them together, because a module in a different cupboard is a module you will forget you own.
