A cap is simple gear, and most of the time it is the most useful thing you own. It keeps sun off your face and out of your eyes, which on an Australian summer day is not a small thing. Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, and shade on your face and the back of your neck is the easiest protection there is.

Perforated or solid?

It depends on what you are doing. Perforated panels let heat escape, which matters when you are working or walking and generating your own heat. A solid cap holds its shape better and wears in over the years, which is what you want for the drive, the shed and everything in between.

What we make

The SURVIVAL Trek Cap is a perforated performance cap in stone grey and charcoal with raised white text, cut for hot days and long ones. The SURVIVAL Classic Cap is beige with a black circular badge, with no technical fabric and no performance claims, made to wear in rather than out.
