"Being one of the statistically unlucky ones to have been on the receiving end of a snake bite, I can tell you now that fast response and having the right kit on hand make all the difference. The big difference I found between this kit and others is the bandages and the splint. Sure, other kits have bandages, but the RIGHT bandage that can deliver the consistent pressure you need to get the job done seems to fall short, even in some expensive so-called snake bite kits.

The kit from Survival is brilliant, the bandages are perfect, the splint is supplied and although any straight tree branch will suffice in a pinch, having a professional grade splint is awesome!

Even if the kit only contained the bandages and splint it would still be better than 90% of kits I've seen or used. But you also get documentation, a bite zone gauze, thermal blanket, splint bandage and gloves. The only other thing you need is knowledge... learn how to use your kit effectively and you'll be set :)
